After a series of great shoots and shooting hikes ‘post lockdown’, and the continued great weather we had been having, I was keen to capture some more sunset images. This time we decided to head out to Stanage Edge, and back to the ‘snaking’ path we had walked up on our first ‘post lockdown’ shooting hike (you can read more here). We parked up at Long Causeway Car Park and made our way up onto the edge. We had a short walk along the edge, just to take in the wonderful views and weather before stopping for a bit of food.
Once the sun stated to get a little lower we made our way back to the snaking path, capturing these images as the sun kissed the edge itself. I love the contrast between the colour of the sky and the path and edge, the sun kissing the edge was a bonus!
All the images in this blog are available as high quality photographic prints for you to enjoy in your home. Why not take a look at my full Peak District Print Collection.
