Buyer’s Guide

Print Quality

All of my prints are professionally printed using the latest C-Type printing processes onto Fujicolor photographic paper. All the way through the photographic process, every effort is made to produce the most visually pleasing, and technically accurate print. From focusing and exposure, through to re-touching and print calibrating, to packaging and delivery.

All of my prints are signed and are edge to edge printed.

Print Sizing Guide

It’s always tricky to work out the perfect size print for your home. To make the decision easier, here is a handy sizing guide to give you an idea of the overall size of various prints. Please note, once you have framed your print the size could be up to 20-40% bigger depending on the style of frame. The most popular print sizes are 24″x16″ and 12″x24″.

Frames

Oak Frame Full
Solid Oak Frame

We offer a range of high quality frames that complement our landscape photography prints. All of our frames are made to order here in the UK. At present we don’t offer framing service but rather a convenient way to purchase a suitable and complementary frame to match your Peak by Dan Mears print. Frames are offered for most print sizes in either a solid Oak or matte black frame with a contemporary white mount. Frames and Prints are shipped separately from different partners and require you to mount your own print on delivery. This is a very straightforward process, a handy guide is available here.

Delivery

Prints are posted out directly from our printing partners using either Royal Mail 24 (1st Class) or DPD Tracked services, depending on the size of your print and order. The Royal Mail 24 (1st Class) service is £6.99 and the DPD tracked service is £15.99. The cost of postage will be displayed in the checkout once you enter a delivery address. Depending on the quantity of your order, it may be required to upgrade your delivery service from the Royal Mail 24 (1st Class) service to the DPD Tracked service. This is done at no extra cost to yourself, and it is at our discretion. You will be informed if this is the case ahead of dispatch.
