Froggatt Edge Sunset Shoot

Sunset Over Froggatt Edge Panoramic

After a great experience on our first ‘post lockdown’ shooting hike, I was keen to capture some more woodland bluebell images and possibility some sunset images over Froggatt Edge. We parked up below Curbar Edge and walk up to Froggatt Edge through the woodland.

Once we reached the edge we made our way down to the woodland near Nether Padley, which we knew would feature loads of wonderful bluebells.

Once I had captured a selection of bluebell images we made our way back up onto Froggatt Edge. It was due to be a little more cloudy so I was really pleased when the skies cleared resulting in some wonderful images. The following images were captured using bracketing, this allows me to capture a greater contrast range. It was my first time using this technique, over using Graduated ND filters, and I throughly enjoyed working this way and the images I captured.

All the images in this blog are available as high quality photographic prints for you to enjoy in your home. Why not take a look at my full Peak District Print Collection.
